About this blog

“Mathematics, rightly viewed, possesses not only truth, but supreme beauty—a beauty cold and austere, like that of sculpture, without appeal to any part of our weaker nature, without the gorgeous trappings of painting or music, yet sublimely pure, and capable of a stern perfection such as only the greatest art can show.”   –  Bertrand Russell

My name isScott Campbell Math Teacher Scott Campbell, and I’ve been teaching high school Math for 18 years and I’ve tutored students in math for over 30 years. InfiniteMathIdeas.com is about my passion: teaching math.

I have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from NJIT

I am currently the Department Chair at Don Bosco Prep High School.  We have a great math program here that we’ve developed over the past 8 years and I’d love to share with you some great ideas we’ve come up with. Almost all of our AP Calculus students get 4s and 5s on our AP exams and I’d like to share some strategies with other AP teachers.  Many of the tips and worksheets on this site are the exact documents I use when teaching Algebra, Geometry, and AP Calculus.  I love to discuss teaching math and this site is my attempt at sharing great practices and ideas with both teachers and students.

Parents and students:

Welcome!  I hope this site can help you be more successful in your math class.  These articles and tips are compiled from the advice I give my parents and students every year.  My students have had a lot of success with these strategies.  If I was to do it all over again, this is how I would do things differently as a high school math student. Just click the picture “Parents and Students” on the left hand side of the screen to see all articles tailored for you.

Finally, don’t forget to subscribe for email alerts when new articles get posted. I will never give my email list to anyone else or any company ———————————————->
