Welcome Students!
General Class information:
- Meets: 6 days out of 7 (rotating schedule with one drop)
- Requirements: Graphing Calculator (TI-84c), IPad, Stylus for IPad (cheap one or expensive Apple one), Pen.
- Extra help available: Most days (except when I have meetings).
- Grading each quarter: (Total Points system): 4 Unit Tests (around 80 points each), 6 Quizzes (around 40 points each), 30 HWs (4 points each), 1 Reflection Paper (25 points).
- Final grade: 4 Quarters (20% each), Midterm (10% comprising of a project: 6% and a Test 4%), Final exam (10%).
- Final grade required to get to AB Calculus: 90%+ average, 85%+ final exam grade
- Final grade required to get to BC Calculus: 97%+ average, 90%+ final exam grade
Class communication:
All communications with me should go through DBP email and cc your parents. Do not use the contact me forms, etc. on this site. I will not respond to any email not coming from your DBP address.
